Vivint Smart Home, the largest smart home services company in North America, recently worked with Yahoo on a two-pronged strategy to drive engagement and increase sales with a native advertising campaign:
- Driving traffic to its website with extensive content
- Driving adoption of its security and smart home offerings.
By testing various article headlines and campaign creatives with Yahoo, Vivint was able to achieve a CTR that outperformed industry benchmarks by 57% and, most important, a 735% lift in sales during the campaign flight.

Based on the return Vivint achieved from the campaign, the company is looking to expand its advertising efforts with Yahoo by tapping into new tactics and capabilities.
