Yahoo! Search + New Cost-Per-Lead Format is a Match Made in Advertising Heaven

Make more connections by collecting contact info right on the Yahoo! Search page

When you think about it, advertising is a lot like dating. Your goal is to connect with the right people, and success often depends on how many great contacts you gather by the end of the night.

At Yahoo!, we want to see our advertisers build the relationships of their dreams, so we're introducing a new ad format that makes it easier than ever to capture attention and leads via organic search results.

Cost-Per-Lead (CPL) for Search Ads lets you add a contact form to your listings—increasing searcher engagement and encouraging users to provide valuable information, like demographics, email addresses, and even their "digits." And the best part is, you pay only when users complete your form.

Higher click-through rates

This innovative new ad format not only enables you to boost your appeal by promoting your brand more prominently on the search page, it has yielded click-through rate increases of 6%!*

Flexible formatting options

In addition to choosing your headline and logo, you can deck out your ad with up to six individual fields. You'll also have the opportunity to include custom messaging for your audience in "thank you" text that appears after users complete your form.

Want to see a CPL for Search Ad in action? Here's an example of how our new feature could work for users seeking an online dating site like Match.com:

1.    CPL for Search Ad appears as Match.com's organic listing on Yahoo! Search.

2.     A user fills out the form and clicks "Search Now."

3.     A "thank you" message appears.

Unlike dating sites, however, Yahoo! will make sure that every match you attract is legit. We'll verify all submitted user data to ensure you're charged only for valid leads. Please note that pricing will vary according to product or service.

To learn more about this exciting new way to make contact with your Mr. and Ms. Right Audience, or to make a commitment and add CPL for Search to your campaign now, contact your Yahoo! account representative.
