Original comedy series spoofing reality dating shows is a red-hot hit with critics and viewers
“Burning Love,” Yahoo!’s original comedy series that satirizes “The Bachelor,” ended its first season as that rare hit show that wows both viewers and critics. Today Yahoo! announced that “Burning Love” will kick off its second season on Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day.
We should all experience the kind of wide-ranging acclaim that “Burning Love” received after its first season. Rolling Stone said it was one of the “top 10 TV moments” of 2012. Buzz Sugar called it “ridiculously awesome.” Business Insider deemed it “hilarious,” as did Perez Hilton (actually, he said “highlarious”). The second season returns many key players, including show creator Erica Oyama, actor Ken Marino and an executive producing team that includes Ben Stiller. This trailer gives a look at season-two hijinks.
