Our Ad of the Week features video tutorials that show how easy it is to bank on the go with Wells Fargo’s mobile app.
Wells Fargo is determined to make banking simple and super-convenient for its customers, and a key part of its master plan is a cool new mobile app.
To show how slick that app really is, the bank recently ran a user-controlled billboard on the Yahoo homepage that includes video tutorials on its key features and a link to a brand-new website that tells the whole story. Here’s how it works.
After the quick auto intro, the user has the option of pushing up the 970x250 billboard so that it disappears and restores the live page content. Or you can stay in this little mobile banking center to see why the Wells Fargo app is your new best banking buddy.
Two 360x200 NetStream videos within the billboard offer one-minute tutorials on the app’s mobile deposit and SurePay features. The former shows how you can deposit checks without getting out of your chair. SurePay lets you make payments to merchants and pretty much anyone else you want, be it a friend, your sitter, or your teenager. Better yet, the app also lets them pay you back (though that probably won’t apply in the teenager’s case).
The red “Go” button deposits users into Wells Fargo’s Get Banking Done site to take the full tour of the app’s power.
The Wells Fargo billboard with instream videos offers a user-controlled, interactive experience that clearly shows users how easy mobile banking can be with the bank’s new app.
