Hear from ABC News Digital SVP Joe Ruffolo on the success of the relationship and ABC News' plans going forward
The Huffington Post's Andy Plesser today posted a Beet.tv video interview with ABC News Digital Senior Vice President Joe Ruffolo, who talks about the success of the Yahoo!-ABC News collaboration that we announced here on the blog back on October. In February, Yahoo!-ABC News content drew nearly 411 million video views and more than 43 million unique visitors, according to comScore. That far outpaces the two nearest competitors, MSNBC.com and CNN.com.
"The relationship is even more successful than we had dreamt," says Ruffolo. "We are in the #1 position together."
Ruffolo goes on to talk about some of Yahoo! and ABC News' successful original Web programming, like "Around the World with Christiane Amanpour," as well as the future of ABC News on the Web, and with Yahoo!
Stunning numbers like these are among the reasons that the upcoming Digital Content NewFronts, which happen in late April, are getting so much buzz among savvy brands who are realizing that now is the time to align themselves with top-quality, trusted digital content. We know people who can help you do that.
