Here’s how it worked:
A brief frequency-capped auto intro reveals the Corolla pulling up to Yahoo.com, where the viewer takes over the wheel. Closing the ad brings up the live page content. Keeping the billboard open means you can watch a trio of brief videos, backed by cool tunes.
One video shows off the Corolla’s new exterior, featuring wind-tunnel-tested aerodynamics that allow for better handling and fuel economy, and stylish LED headlights that let you see and be seen. A video on the restyled interior tells all about the Entune premium audio with navigation, fluid touch-screen dashboard with app suite, backup camera, and more. While you’re in a dancing mood, check out the full one-minute commercial that chauffeurs you through a musical-automotive journey across five decades, from the ‘60s when the Corolla was introduced to today’s latest model (cue DJ Shy Kidx).
