It's the dog days of summer----particularly for Purina, which is promoting its Pro Plan dog food via a custom tail-wagging experience
We all love our doggies. What would we do without that adorable slobbering fur ball who keeps the home fires burning while we're at the office, and who reciprocates our love with that same tireless, panting, tail-swiping energy every single day?
Now you can show your four-legged better half to the world thanks to Purina's custom expandable on Yahoo! Screen, part of its Pro Plan "How is your dog GREAT?" campaign.
With a pair of 1280x1024 rich gutters framing the page, the meaty bone of the ad is contained in the 950x70 north banner bridging the gutters above the live page content. Tell your mouse pointer to sit and roll over the banner to expand it down to 250 pixels.
The 950x250 expanded banner is a sort of screen within Screen that lets you "Aw how cute!" at the doggie videos categorized for your fetching pleasure: athletic dogs, devoted dogs, show dogs, smart dogs, working dogs, and other dogs.
And that's just half the fur-bearing fun. As the campaign's name suggests, Purina is giving you the chance to show off your poochie courtesy of the "Submit Your Video" button in the expanded banner.
