Kia turns Yahoo! Travel into a hot destination for visitors to tour the 2013 Sorento in an interactive pushdown.
To unveil its 2013 Sorento crossover SUV, Kia recently ran a custom pushdown with rich backskin and video on Yahoo! Travel. True to its tagline, "a departure from the expected," the ad lets the user take a sojourn through an interactive experience to explore the heavily horse-powered seven-seater.
First-time travelers will see the 970x60 sliver auto-pushdown for a quick video teaser. The auto-push is frequency capped at once per day per user. Otherwise, the user can simply expand the sliver from 60 to 415 pixels wide to get full-fettered access to the Sorento showroom.
In addition to the video spot, the expanded pane features a photo gallery of 12 close-ups emphasizing specific interior and exterior pieces of awesomeness. The Explore tab lets you dress up the Sorento in any of a dozen colors while drooling over it from multiple angles.
With the pane restored to the 60-pixel sliver, a right-side 300x250 pane rounds out the joy ride.
