I read this online today, so it must be true: "The product doesn't matter. Everyone else sells it too. The only way to make it different is to change the packaging. Instead of trying to sell a product or a service, why not sell the package?"
Are we really that shallow and so easily fooled by mere appearances? As someone who toils in a dimly lit corner of the ad game, I say, "Sure hope so!"
As usual, our David T. Jones (okay, we don't own him, but he's part of the team) takes the concept to a completely illogical conclusion that makes scary sense.
