Vote next Tuesday---and get a free complaint!
Election time in America is when we vote, watch endless attack ads, and most of all, complain.
That's how our toonsmith David T. Jones sees it, and like the take-charge guy he is, he's not going to sit around and bellyache about it---he's going to market something. Our love of complaining is the inspiration behind this week's Ad Land cartoon---and the real-life , non-partisan, get-out-the-vote PSA campaign that his agency created called "Real Complainers Vote."
Here's its mission statement, right from the website: "Real Complainers Vote is a non-partisan effort to ensure that all Americans vote before they complain. We don't care who or what you vote for, we just want you to do it. Or no complaining. And we're here to spread that message from sea to whiney sea."
So join the cause. No more free rides. Earn your right to beef, carp, fuss, and grumble by voting next Tuesday. See David's full manifesto after the jump.
