New Ad Land Cartoon: The Best Part of Being an Agency Creative

From sports to advertising, the great ones always make it look easy

Check out the agency creative guy in the cartoon on the right. Is he working hard, or hardly working?  Ideating, or idling?  Our resident Ad Land artiste David T. Jones would say that creative may look like he’s goofing off, but he’s really busting his hindquarters on the most important part of his job---dreaming up new ideas.

Still, like all the great ones, he sure makes it look easy. “People are least creative when they were fighting the clock,” said an article in “Fast Company” magazine, and this guy has certainly thrown in the towel. Good on him!
