New Ad Land Cartoon: Another Tug-of-War between Clients and Creatives

Sometimes the creative process can complicate the simplest client request

When given an assignment, no agency creative worth his or her salt is happy doing the bare minimum. No, they want to take it up a notch, add their own touch, strut their stuff, shake their tail feathers---which can take them on huge detours before finally delivering what the client wants, says our dauntless doodler, David T. Jones.

This week's Ad Land cartoon tells the tale of just such a creative tug-of-war, and it's inspired by an actual experience on a banner-ad project at David's agency.

Check out this real-life tale of costly creative collaboration after the jump.
