Brand planning meetings can really put you through the wringer. You can't miss them, but dread going.
Picture this: A crowded room. Half are sweating bullets trying to think of something smart to say. The other half are throwing out grand visions and bold proclamations. Then a few people walk in and try to rein you in with practical things like "budgets" and "spreadsheets."
This goes on for many caffeine- and candy-fueled hours. Once the meeting concludes and the sugar rush fades you walk back to your desk and realize that much of what you plan for the year changes on the fly anyway…so…good meeting!
But there is an alternative---fake your way out of it. Think of it as a creative challenge. And in this week's cartoon, David offers five proven ways he's done just that.
Start practicing your fake cough and check out the entire plan after the jump.
