New Ad Land Cartoon: 2012 was the Year Nobody was Impressed

That was the year that was, and David T. Jones thinks we weren’t all that impressed with it

Our resident cartoonist David T. Jones has a year-end tradition, where he ponders the big media events of the previous 12 months, finds a common theme that ties them together and draws it up.  For 2012, David’s take on the year’s big events is that nobody was much impressed with them.

Considering our reactions to the year’s most hyped-up happenings,  like the Olympics, presidential race and battles of the digital titans, David sees a lot of shoulder-shrugging and hears a chorus of “mehs.”

Saunter on past the jump to check out the full cartoon. And we at the Ad Blog wish you all a happy, healthy, and wildly enthusiastic new year!
